Volume II Issue I
Ancient Civilizations: Enduring Stories
Ancient, but never forgotten. These civilisations serve as the very foundation of life as we know it, from Mesopotamia’s life-altering inventions, to Greece’s early establishment in philosophical and scientific fields. Our lives in the modern era pale in comparison to the thousands of years these civilisations have endured, creating, thinking, and paving the pathway for us. These civilisations give us insights into the past, explains our present, and shapes our future.
In Volume II Issue I, The Legacy Project will explore 5 of the most impactful civilisations: Ancient Greece, Rome, China, Egypt, and Mesopotamia, to show you a glimpse of their true nature—everyday life, culture, science, monarchs, and more.

Volume I Issue V:
Heroes of the Front
As Remembrance Day approaches, The Legacy Project would like to dedicate its fifth issue to the unsung voices of the front: the soldiers who sacrificed everything to protect their countries. Since we are based in Canada, and have previously featured Europe and Asia, this issue will be based on the history of North American participation on the front in World War One. In addition, as sensitive topics will be covered, we ask that anyone who may experience distress from war related content refrain from reading. The Legacy Project has selected this topic with the goal of covering the most basic of content from the war in an attempt to make the knowledge accessible to all. It is the responsibility of the younger generations to learn about this history so that the atrocities that occurred may be prevented in the future or advocated against in the present. We have in no way covered the full extent of World War One and did not experience it ourselves, therefore we ask readers to seek additional resources to further their understanding.

Her Legacy: Women Who Shaped History
How many female Albert Einsteins, William Shakespeares, Leonardo Da Vincis, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts, to name a few, might the world have known if history had shined its light on them too? For centuries, history tended to highlight men—their stories, their achievements, their legacies. It’s not as if women weren’t there—though their efforts weren’t always as documented or celebrated, they changed history: starting movements, breaking down barriers, raising their voices in silence, caring for those in need, discovering and inventing, writing and singing—all a powerful testimony to their impact. In this fourth issue, The Legacy Project seeks to restore the balance by shining a light on some of the many unsung heroes of the past, uncovering stories that deserve to be told: Her Legacy.

The Wonders of the World
Millions upon millions of tourists visit the Wonders of the World each year, craning to see the marvels of architecture humanity has to offer. Yet, despite their rich history, we often forget their predecessors, only one of which is still standing. After years of fires, pillaging, earthquakes, and tales, historians have worked to uncover what these wonders were like in their full glory, but what secrets hide in their foundations and can it even be confirmed if they existed at all? In the third issue of The Legacy Project, we would like to invite you into a time machine spanning across all of civilization’s history.
