The weight of my knees sink deep into soil
The weight of the blindfold rip my eyes out
The weight of the sun will take a while
The warmth of my clothes has yet to come sprout
The weight of my frayed hair drapes like a hood
The weight of their laughter reek of their rape
The weight of their shadow crawls through the blood
The cold press of their blade sticks to my nape
The weight of the air thins as the blade hums
The weight of their malice crawl into my ear
The weight of the wind whispers of a cut
The warmth of the sun comes late by a year
The blade falls fast–no weight is left to bear
The sun stands still, and none will see it fair
